Welcome to PTSD Forum. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a life threatening, debilitating disorder that can break down a sufferer’s body through anxiety and stress. Further it poses a significant suicide risk resulting from the brains neurological imbalance and chemical depression. Sufferers often live in denial, thus this community is aimed at helping PTSD sufferers help themselves through others experiences, guidance and education. We are here for the sufferer, spouse and families surrounding PTSD. Spouses and family are too often forgotten in this equation, and often they receive all the worst that PTSD has to offer. If you're involved in any way with PTSD, get registered and help yourself now.

Non-active members will eventually be deleted. If you are not a sufferer, carer or someone within the mental health industry, and active, then there is little reason for you to be a member of this forum. Non-active members with zero posts are deleted periodically during the year.

Default I Did It - Now Professional Archaeologist
have been busy finishing off a load of serious report writing these past few months, so have been overstressed and busy, but im happy to say, one seriously screwy once drank too much living in a world of pain chap, has pulled himself up, got cleaned up and is now a proffessional archaeologist
took a lot of time and some serious serious effort but i got there in the end, the future contains a job with reasonable pay, and not too much stress, so it is do able for someone whos a wreck to pull themselves out of the gutter, get some education and get on with life, it isnt easy and is a challenge but its worth it, real happy i now have proffessional degree
anyways thats the good news, sorry i havent been around for a while, jon

hard to do at times but it was worth it,
so set a goal and take your time and you will get there in the end.
