| | Notices | Welcome to PTSD Forum. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a life threatening, debilitating disorder that can break down a sufferer’s body through anxiety and stress. Further it poses a significant suicide risk resulting from the brains neurological imbalance and chemical depression. Sufferers often live in denial, thus this community is aimed at helping PTSD sufferers help themselves through others experiences, guidance and education. We are here for the sufferer, spouse and families surrounding PTSD. Spouses and family are too often forgotten in this equation, and often they receive all the worst that PTSD has to offer. If you're involved in any way with PTSD, get registered and help yourself now. Non-active members will eventually be deleted. If you are not a sufferer, carer or someone within the mental health industry, and active, then there is little reason for you to be a member of this forum. Non-active members with zero posts are deleted periodically during the year. | | |

What about those that thought you were God...
What about the churches you used as a facade....

and the money making cocain....
what about those you left lying cold...
were they dead....
do you still do what I think you do....
how many? damb it!... how many?.....
Am I thee only one that dared challenge you?.....
Who the hell are you touching now?
When are you ever going to be through.?
I am not resposibal for what you've done .

| | He Will Abide most of my poems are about God, if that offends you, i'm sorry--just don't read it if that's the case. this is a big part of me.
He Will Abide
When Satan throws fiery darts,
I must keep them from my heart.
When I resist, he must flee.
He has no control of me.
My Savior's blood washed me clean,
On His promises I lean.
Though He is the King of Kings,
I can hide under His wing.
I'll dwell with Christ ever more,
Some day when this life is o'er.
To be in that perfect place
Lit by the glow of His face.
Til then I will serve Him here,
And share His love far and near.
To tell those from tide to tide,
In your heart, He will Abide. |

| | Oh LORD God O LORD God
Oh LORD God, dear Savior mine,
Cleanse my heart and make me thine.
When I bow my head in shame,
How you love me, just the same.
Comfort me Holy Spirit.
Call my name. I wil hear it.
Holy One, please dwell in me--
So from sin, I am now free.
Father God, the LORD Most High,
You calm my fears when I sigh.
Teach me truth, Father Holy,
Help me be meek and lowly.
If I stray away from you,
Draw me back, dear Master, do.
I worship you, the Most High King.
I will praise you, I will sing. |

| | Ok, here's my piece. It's someone else's turn... add your pal poem to the top of this and let's see how far we go!
~Boo
Scarlet Crimson is my pal
she's strong and tough
she's quite a gal!
Our days have their ups and downs
she picks me up
and we act like clowns!
Boo!Boo!

| | Grandfather posted this in the diaries, but i think it will be ok here now.
Grandfather
A grandfather's love should be gentle and kind.
This small child's well-being kept in mind.
Why would he break a little girl's heart,
Tearing the safety of his love apart?
The dark things he did now override
Hours spent innocently by his side.
How could someone she loves treat her that way?
And now, for his sins, with her heart she must pay.
Discarding the value of her life
Returning her love with malice and strife.
In death he escapes a sentence of guilt.
Never the beauty of his love rebuilt.
Why does it haunt her? It no longer matters.
Her little heart aches, her world is in tatters.
Where is this little girl now? She is grown.
Her heart is still broken. She feels all alone. |

| | Autumn in the Country isn't anybody else posting here? i don't want to read my own!
Autumn in the Country
As the autumn wind
Whistles down the lane,
Fallen leaves scamper...
Leap-frog is their game!
Leaves not yet fallen
Shiver as it blows.
'Fraid to fall, it seems.
Do you think they know?
Laughter travels now
From a distant place.
Happy chatter comes,
Echoes of a race!
Squirrels hurry now,
Seeking their treasure.
Get enough to last!
More for good measure!
Now here in the country
Autumn's in full swing.
Leaves go a' dancing
Acorns go ker-pling! |

| | An Instrument in Your Hands LORD help me to be
An instrument in Your hands.
Yielding to you, LORD
When things I don't understand.
While standing alone,
Your song cannot leave my heart.
Relying on You, LORD
I'll sound as You breathe my part.
Being fulfilled now,
Let Your music flow through me,
I'll share Your joy, LORD
Of those who will come to Thee.
As Your song I share,
My heart surrendered to You,
Controlled by You, LORD,
Please breathe everything I do. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
