| | Notices | Welcome to PTSD Forum. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a life threatening, debilitating disorder that can break down a sufferer’s body through anxiety and stress. Further it poses a significant suicide risk resulting from the brains neurological imbalance and chemical depression. Sufferers often live in denial, thus this community is aimed at helping PTSD sufferers help themselves through others experiences, guidance and education. We are here for the sufferer, spouse and families surrounding PTSD. Spouses and family are too often forgotten in this equation, and often they receive all the worst that PTSD has to offer. If you're involved in any way with PTSD, get registered and help yourself now. Non-active members will eventually be deleted. If you are not a sufferer, carer or someone within the mental health industry, and active, then there is little reason for you to be a member of this forum. Non-active members with zero posts are deleted periodically during the year. | | |

| | (words of some truly twisted & deranged folk) My Poem: Sooner or later we'll sit by your side, we'll share new ideas and tell you we lied. We lied to ourselves as well as to you, no wonder you keep the secrets you do. We created a girl, one simply to smart, to respond to our tales and exploit all our faults.
Dear daughter, Please Listen...Come sit by our side, we'll no longer stand for destruction of lives. The works have been abandon, the herion seized...this time we sought help for our crippling disease.
Oh' dear, oh Dear, please lend us an ear...as we want you to know that we love and we care. Come, ..come now and see our many tears.
We care for your body and send us your best. Whoops, honey. ...I mean, We care for you baby and send you our best. Though a good girl, you simply could not rest.
The foul play your body endured, and oh' that voiceless scream of yours. We squelched your Pleas with far too much ease. ......Perhaps your occassional scream was nothing more than our bad dream. What went wrong we do not know. It breaks our heart to tell you so.
Won't you forgive us baby girl? Our only bad choose was to play with your.................. "NOW YOU REMEMBER HONEY, THIS WAS NOT OUR FAULT!" You set us up, you wanted it so, you seldomed screamed oh no Daddy, No! ...And, now we must add that we're so truly sad that you did not find hope until first you went Mad.

| | Veterans sat. is verterans day in the u s. this is for them, and any other vets that fought for their country.
Veterans
They served our country well
In peril for their life,
And fought those battles hard,
Ignoring fear and strife.
Some would never come back,
Grieving many a heart,
Giving their all for us,
The end, never to start.
Some came, bodies broken,
Never the same again.
How thankful we should be
They served their country then.
Some exposed to chemicals,
Some to atrocities--
Worse than death in some ways,
Bearing scars we cannot see.
These lives changed forever
To guarantee ours free.
Come, let us honor them
For all the world to see.
Deserving so much more
Than we can now repay
Let’s show them our respect,
And lift them when we pray.
God Bless the Vets that fought
With peace and happiness.
We salute your valor,
Service, and selflessness! |

| | A Poem of mine: Born Intact, A Lovely Child Suffers Thereafter.
The Conception, Unintentional
The Birth Insubstantial ...
Everlasting Apathy Corrupts The Child's Mind.
"Pretend You Don't Care," "Give Up!" And,
"Don't Ever Be Confident"-"You're Dreaming!"
Depression Drains The Soul.
And, Devastates The Household ...
Don't Stand Too Close. ... Depression Spreads, When It's Smeared In Your Face.
Words Are No Laughing Matter, ...They Build One's Fire.
Yes! A Product Of Vulgarity And Disrespect Dies Out ...When It's Stamped Out. |

| | Hands of God Hands of God
The same Hands nailed to a cruel cross
Are the Hands of the Master Potter.
Hands that healed the sick and the blind
Are the Hands that parted water.
Hands praying in a garden,
Breaking bread in the upper room,
Proving deity to doubters,
Were resurrected from the tomb.
Hands holding all our tomorrows,
Hanging every star in the night,
Hands of a Babe in a manger,
Are gentle Hands that hold me tight.
Those Hands that tamed the driving wind,
And calmed the churning, stormy sea,
Holy Hands that formed the universe,
Are Hands of God that leadeth me.

| | Thanksgiving Thanksgiving
All Christians in this world now living
Should offer up a true Thanksgiving.
With heartfelt praise, we should rejoice,
Let’s raise our hands and lift our voice.
The LORD God provides all that we need,
Salvation is first and best, indeed!
By grace, through faith in Jesus Christ,
For us, He made the sacrifice.
I want my soul to sing God’s glory,
And share with all the world His story.
How the precious Savior left His throne,
To rescue those that would be His own.
Now with thanksgiving, we should ponder,
And with our hearts, let us now honor
The Holy One that makes us able
To feast at His Thanksgiving table.

| | Light a candle for the damned and the lost.
For the father son and all the Host
My heart to yours, my flame burns bright
May we guide each other to greet the night.
Under the lady's watchful gaze
we stumble about in a blood tinged haze
For we are lost, ne'er to be found
Wandering alone, lost in the crowds.
Find me, love me, Hold me close
Let me blossom, a hardy rose
Don't mind the pain, those thorns dig deep
As in my dream, I long to sleep. |

Lost along the path of life

| | I found this a long time ago.
Little Eyes Upon You
There are little eyes upon you
and they're watching night and day.
There are little ears that quickly
take in every word you say.
There are little hands all eager
to do anything you do;
And a little boy who's dreaming
of the day he'll be like you.
You're the little angels idol
your the wisest of the wise.
In his mind about you
no suspicions ever rise.
He believes in you devoutly,
holds all you say and do;
He will say and do, in your way
when he's grown up just like you.
Threr's a wide eyed little boy
who believes your always right;
and his eyes are always opened,
and he watches day and night.
You are setting an example
every day in all you do;
For the little boy who's waiting
to grow up to be just like you. |

| | My Shelter in the Storm My Shelter in the Storm
As this sea of sorrow encroaches upon me,
Crashing waves, higher and stronger begin to grow,
The LORD, like a life-boat rescues me once again
From those dire depths that would overwhelm my soul.
If memories, like the wind, begin to blow hard,
And I allow my attention to shift from Him,
As they howl and swirl and stir up pain and strife,
Christ will calm the winds of these memories again.
When the dark storm-clouds of life begin to gather,
And the driving rain of discontentment does fall,
The LORD takes me in to shelter me from the storm.
He alone is my help, my hope, my all-in-all. |

| | Did He? Did He?
Did He cry as a Babe?
Was He ever afraid
When He lay there in the Hay?
Did the LORD run and play?
Was He disappointed
When things didn’t go His way?
Did He like carpentry?
Was Jesus tired and sore
When He worked so busily?
Did He feel all alone?
Was He crushed by my sin
When He did for it atone?
Does He cry when I fail?
Is He still hurt by me
