| | Notices | Welcome to PTSD Forum. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a life threatening, debilitating disorder that can break down a sufferer’s body through anxiety and stress. Further it poses a significant suicide risk resulting from the brains neurological imbalance and chemical depression. Sufferers often live in denial, thus this community is aimed at helping PTSD sufferers help themselves through others experiences, guidance and education. We are here for the sufferer, spouse and families surrounding PTSD. Spouses and family are too often forgotten in this equation, and often they receive all the worst that PTSD has to offer. If you're involved in any way with PTSD, get registered and help yourself now. Non-active members will eventually be deleted. If you are not a sufferer, carer or someone within the mental health industry, and active, then there is little reason for you to be a member of this forum. Non-active members with zero posts are deleted periodically during the year. | | |

| | Where is our PTSD Store? I know Anthony is out of touch, but when he comes back I hope he can answer this question for me.
I remember when he was asking for suggestions for merchandise, etc. We
all got excited about having an on line store.
So here's hopping we actually get an on line store |

| | I haven't forgotten about it... The person drawing the new logo has other things to do than worry about a logo for here, which really isn't that important in the scheme of things, as I outlined to them upon accepting to draw it. When they are good and ready to draw it, then I will use it to apply to the goods at the store.
Haven't forgotten... patience and all good things come in time. |

| | Who ever sent an email to Evie telling her to hurry up and draw a logo for the forum, should go f*ck themselves and get a reality check on life... how rude to do such a thing. If I find out who that rude individual was to do such a thing, I will be placing that person into moderation, as that type of attitude is just not warranted here IMHO. How rude to demand a person draw a logo for one's own selfish purposes and intent. What does the construction of a store have to do with any other person anyway, besides myself and anyone who may be helping me? Is my curiosity.... |

| | While it is great to get excited about and idea and concept it is different to being the one putting it into action. Big reminder here..... a lot of the people here have PTSD which means there are times that they don't function well and pressures and stress can have a detrimental effect.
Please give others the same respect you would want for yourselves. Ask yourself, would you want someone hounding and pressurising you to do something which you have to be in a certain mind frame to do? Do you have a life and other demands which may take precedence to giving your time and talent freely?
It is ok to want something but when it comes at a price for someone else (being their time, resources etc) I think patience is definitely called for. |

| | As the person who started this, I want to apologize to one and all. I guess I used poor judgement in asking the question as I did. Should have just sent Anthony a pm.
But I agree 100% with both Anthony and Nicolette. Who ever was responsible for the
email to Evie is way out of line. That was very inconsiderate, rude, selfish and lacking in common courtesy.
We all have our own issues that we do not necessarily share here on the forum and to email Evie without knowing what is going on in her life was cruel.. Did you not notice that she has been GONE FROM HERE for quite some time? Did you ever stop to think she may be having some issues she is dealing with? While I am trying to hold my temper---I AM PISSED1 1
I may have been wrong in asking the question, but the emailer is WAY OUT OF LINE! !
