If i'm handled right there will be no sores on your hands (again Don't f with me)

I lay in a small self-made burrow (I avoid a lot)

Being nocturnal I gleefully eat up insects til the sun goes up (I am up all night)

If I'm handled very well I'll sleep in your hand (Thankfully I still can trust certain people)

but i have always wanted to be an elephant, since I was a little girl.

I think I have become a sloth, moving and thinking in slow motion. I do very little in a day and yet still feel pressured. What I do in a week I used to do in one day. And my mind used to be quick and agile and articulate. Now I feel very slow and dumb and simple.

(well.....at least sloths get to live in the tropics in a tree, which I would like, instead of the soon-to-be-frozen north)

If I was an animal, cool I'm going to go with an eagle with a broken wing. I once was strong and powerful and sored above most other animals. Now I am grounded and other animals are reaching out to assist me. My old ego is there deep within, but to fix my wing I am humbling myself. This is hard for a bird of prey but if I do not the stronger animals will win. Peace for now.

Since i was very young I have always wanted to be a house cat. They have the life. all the benefit with none of the work. as I get ready for work my cat will be passed out on the bed in blissful sleep. when I get home the cat is usually still there. did he move?

then he gets up for a while goes out side, makes his rounds comes back in side and is ready to go back to bed with me and will sleep all night. I bet he averages 20 hours of sleep a day.

I believe in reincarnation. I'm hoping my next life is as a rich lady's house cat.

With my luck I'd probably get run over by a Rolls Royce.

What a great question! Grama Herc, I like your description. I have always said I am like a stray dog, who has been beaten by a former master. I walk around with my tail between my legs, fearful of my own shadow. But when I find someone who doesn't beat me, I follow them around, "lick their face", and get over exuberant. Well, then of course, they will get a stern tone to their voice to calm me down. Then when my new "master" turns around to look for me, he'll find me hidden in my doghouse, where I feel safe, and have to be coaxed out. My poor husband has had to learn to watch his tone of voice, and to apologize quickly to help me back to "normal".

Of course I'm the cutest stray dog you'd ever meet, lol!
