Default What Therapy Has Worked For You - Online Survey

Hi all. Hope the sun is shining for you today. I am a psychotherapist based in Melbourne, Australia. Doing a research project on how individuals become aware of the symptoms rather than the detail of the trauma. I'd like to ask you to take part in the on-line survey at http://www.ptsdresearch.org.

But also, through this thread, could you please give me a feel for what treatments you have tried and what results you got? If you did get results were they short term or did they last? Did they change the way you perceive the symptoms in any way? Was the treatment / therapy done in combination with drugs or without? The more you can tell me the better. All information will be treated confidentially.

I have done a lot of work with PTSD and Combat Related Stress clients and I find the best results come from a combination of dealing with biochemical toxicity from long term elevated stress levels, and a rather unusual combination of clinical hypnotherapy / Time Line Therapy. I want the results of this research to develop a therapy specifically for high order anxiety disorders that can be taught effectively to more clinicians. So anything you can tell me will help.

Thanks in advance.
