Welcome to PTSD Forum. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a life threatening, debilitating disorder that can break down a sufferer’s body through anxiety and stress. Further it poses a significant suicide risk resulting from the brains neurological imbalance and chemical depression. Sufferers often live in denial, thus this community is aimed at helping PTSD sufferers help themselves through others experiences, guidance and education. We are here for the sufferer, spouse and families surrounding PTSD. Spouses and family are too often forgotten in this equation, and often they receive all the worst that PTSD has to offer. If you're involved in any way with PTSD, get registered and help yourself now.

Non-active members will eventually be deleted. If you are not a sufferer, carer or someone within the mental health industry, and active, then there is little reason for you to be a member of this forum. Non-active members with zero posts are deleted periodically during the year.

I am here to report that I have found the perfect drug for depression and self isolation. Simply go get a litter of tiny kittens and center your on them. \

My mother can't stop commenting on the positive affect these babies have had on me. I am not depressed or moping. I am up and positive and most of all off my arse and moving. I have not been this positive and happy and up in years. Mom is amazed at the affect these babies have had on me.

I am amazed at the affect the kittens have had on me. I really did not expect this kind of reaction.

I highly recommend this cure! Besides the only side affect from this cure is loosing some of you sleep.

This is amazing. I can't get over how great I feel. This is physically as well as mentally. DAM I FEEL GOOD1

Grama-Herc,
I am so pleased these little babies are helping you. My sister is 56 years old and now owns a part-time dog. (she shares it w/ boyfriend in seperate apt.)
This is her 1st dog since leaving home @18. She never wanted a pet or child which caused her divorce. Now, she can't believe how an animal can bring you joy and happiness. She is constantly taking pics of it. She talks of dog as if a child like I do. It is great she finally realizes the happiness a pet can bring but sad it took her all these years to open her heart to one.

OK GUYS BABY PICS ARE POSTED.

There are only 2 but the siamese baby is so cute I took a couple. After all, what can you do with a pic of a black cat??? All you ever get is a picture of a black spot

They are eating well and growing like weeds. Taking them for well baby check up tomorrow. Hercules wants to play with them, but not til they are cleared medically.

Built a door this weekend with a plexiglass insert so Hercules can watch over them and see them play. He has been depressed since we got rid of our Miss Pants---he seems to have perked up a lot since the babies came to live with us.

These babies are doing me , mom and Herc a lot of good
