Ok, I'm from Florida so that snow thing just amazes me...it's June! Actually, my daughter and I visited Denver about a month and half ago and it snowed while we were there. It was crazy enough to me that it snowed then but to realize it's still snowing...all I can say is Wow! I lived in the mid-west for a couple of years when I was in my mid-20's and that is when this Floridian adopted the philosophy that snow is meant for visiting, not for living in.

Anyway, we've actually had a couple of brief thunderstorms around here today. We really need the rain so I'm trying not to complain. In general they usually just bring my mood down a bit but I don't get too frightened or edgy. But it's just the beginning of hurricane season so we'll have to see what kind of weather the summer brings. Hopefully mother nature is kind to us.

Very scary here today. Has been many a storm for last couple weeks but it is the season. My home and yard were all over the news tonight, my house is cuter than I thought :), any who. Couple big trees down in my back yard that blocked the road and half a tree down in both the back and front along with many limbs down. We had 100 mph straight winds. Somehow I did not freak as hard as I thought I would I guess I get upset more over louder storms. This really sneaked up so as rain hit so did the winds and we were all outside enjoying the break from the heat trying to rush in.
