| | Notices | Welcome to PTSD Forum. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a life threatening, debilitating disorder that can break down a sufferer’s body through anxiety and stress. Further it poses a significant suicide risk resulting from the brains neurological imbalance and chemical depression. Sufferers often live in denial, thus this community is aimed at helping PTSD sufferers help themselves through others experiences, guidance and education. We are here for the sufferer, spouse and families surrounding PTSD. Spouses and family are too often forgotten in this equation, and often they receive all the worst that PTSD has to offer. If you're involved in any way with PTSD, get registered and help yourself now. Non-active members will eventually be deleted. If you are not a sufferer, carer or someone within the mental health industry, and active, then there is little reason for you to be a member of this forum. Non-active members with zero posts are deleted periodically during the year. | |

| | What Kind of Music Do You Listen To? I'm just curious what people hear are listening to. Does it effect your mood ?
How important is music to you ?
I listen to most anything as a musician I find it important to appreciate all types. But for the most part I love good hard driving guitar based rock.
Punk is a good release for me when I'm angry and need to get it out. However if I just need to calm down it's The Beatles. |

| | It depends, I'm pretty much all over the place for an old woman. In my CD at present I have Stevie Ray Vaughn, Mozart, Beatles, Frank Sinatra, Tina Turner, Rabbit In The Moon Remix, Mo Town 70's and lastly, Celtic Harp.
The next day I might change it all around to Roy Orbison All Time Greatest Hits, Zydeco Swamp Stomp, the Philharmonic - Tchaikovsky, Journey, Bob Marley, Music of the Spheres, Rita Coolidge and lastly, 50's Sax.
The day after, Doobie Brothers, Jimi Hendrix, Charlie Pride, Paul Revere and the Raiders, Broadway Hits, Delta Blues Festival, Elvis Presely, Barbara Striesand and lastly Huey Lewis and the News.
Like I said, I'm all over the place, very eclectic, from anywhere in the world, as long as it's good. Music makes me happy, thoughtful, sentimental, it's transforming and a real mood lifter.

| | What Kind of Music Do You Listen To? Well have always loved John Fogerty with or with out CCR. John Lennon to. But to be honest Julian Lennon is more my favorite. I think he has shown more talent than his father ever did. His song Saltwater and the video of it I don't know it just shows how deep Jules is. Love him! Love my rock and roll!!!! | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
