I gave up on making lists like, a year ago. I tried and tried and tried... the trouble is, once I get the thoughts out of my brain, then I totally forget them.

And then I forget there even is a list. Or if I remember there is a list, I lose it and can't find it. So what's the point??

I have set up appointments in iCal and I set up iCal to remind me when I have things happening that day. I set the reminder for early in the day so that no matter what time I log onto the computer, I will get the reminder. Appointments are rare enough in my life that once I am reminded of them that day, I don't forget them.

As for bruising, I have a huge new freakin' green-and-purple one on the outside of my ankle, and I have no idea how it got there. What a surprise, that it has appeared immediately after a day+ where I was really dizzy again (and no idea why) ... lovely.

You guys have no idea how glad I am to see everybody in the same boat. REALLY GLAD. EXTREMELY GLAD.

I was actually beginning to think I had multiple personality disorder. What else would explain the bruises except that I was going out at night, after going to sleep, and partying. I am very serious about this. I was scared that there was "another me" inside. I could simply make no sense of the unexplained bruises. I even started researching multiple personality disorder, I was really scared.

I am so glad it is just "1" more fun aspect of our PTSD/or the meds we take. That question is still unanswered.

Grama-Herc,

I was such a relief to read your reply. I've often wondered if I have multiple personalities for the same reasons. I've asked those close to me if I act different on occasions or something to that affect. I've actually told them the truth that I have bruises at times and I could not remember how I got them. Sigh of relief...

Thank you,

Sparky

YOU have no idea how glad I am to read YOUR post. Isn't it amazing the mysteries that can be cleared on this forum?

Knowing that I "am not" crazy and that there are reasons for the weird things we experience is so stress relieving. Just knowing I am not alone is the miracle.

I see you are new and in moderation. Hang in there! Welcome to the group! You won't be in moderation very long I don't think.

I look forward to discussing other issues we may share. Till then Welcome
