Congratulations Nicolette, I think you have been a great asset to the forum. You've been understanding and patient with everyone considering the crap some of us put you through.

Your strength shows through when you can stick it out this long, even though I'm sure you have considered throwing your hands up in the air and saying "I'm done"

I admire your determination to continue to educate yourself for your partner and for the forum. It shows selflessness and good character to help those in need, and expect nothing in return.

Take care
Tammy

Thanks Tammy. To be totally honest the reason why I help others is that I found PTSD very hard to deal with on a couple of occasions and really wished someone was there for me who knew how to deal with it. I mean I have lots of supportive friends but they have no idea of PTSD let alone how to interact with a sufferer who was getting shit thrown at him from all directions. Hence why I now invest my energies in sharing that knowledge. Really great thing is I have learned so much and Anthony is such a good PTSD sufferer when there are no negative external influences that the majority of the time you hardly know he is sick and we have such a happy time.

For other Carers out there...you can learn a lot reading what the sufferers write

Thanks for your kind words Rachel and thanks to the newbies Judy and Arctic boy....may you learn helpful PTSD things!

Nicolette

While we have had our little spats off and on over the past year, you have helped me. Put me in my place a couple of times but I deserved it, and for that I thank you.

Keep up the progress of learning to deal with all of us and your sweetie. You are an asset to the forum, even if I sometimes get other ideas. You are appreciated by me and everyone. Thank you for being here to help us and congratulations for lasting a year with us "crazies"
