| | Notices | Welcome to PTSD Forum. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a life threatening, debilitating disorder that can break down a sufferer’s body through anxiety and stress. Further it poses a significant suicide risk resulting from the brains neurological imbalance and chemical depression. Sufferers often live in denial, thus this community is aimed at helping PTSD sufferers help themselves through others experiences, guidance and education. We are here for the sufferer, spouse and families surrounding PTSD. Spouses and family are too often forgotten in this equation, and often they receive all the worst that PTSD has to offer. If you're involved in any way with PTSD, get registered and help yourself now. Non-active members will eventually be deleted. If you are not a sufferer, carer or someone within the mental health industry, and active, then there is little reason for you to be a member of this forum. Non-active members with zero posts are deleted periodically during the year. | | |

A balance between the two is good. Like Anthony says to others you need to have a life outside of the forum. It has been delightful to watch Anthony lately have interests in which he has excelled himself and managed his PTSD very well. I am very proud of him as he should be of himself. Well done Sweetheart! |

I had hoped to attach your motivational frogs file here which I once again found while reading earlier, but I don't think it worked. I just really like it and think it belongs here too, somewhere in this thread, and alongside Anthony's newest success.
Hey, it looks like the attachment may have worked afterall.

| | I agree hodge with you, ...It is excellent! Nicolette had once emailed it to Anthony, and it was tucked away elsewhere within the forum, and so I simply added it here as well, so as for it to once again be shared and again newly visible.
You take care, hodge.

| | Tell Anthony how happy I am he is doing better. We all deserve to do well and be happy! Even him! ! ! LOL While he and I have certainly had our issues I am happy for him. It must be difficult to deal with the constant negetivity the forum can present to him.
Good news Congrats |

Thank you for asking for clarification. As for self-esteem, I can assure you mine is shot with good reason. Sheeze you might believe the STUPID things I can do when triggered (i.e. not being able to focus beyond fifteen seconds!).
What hit me from the original post, if this is the one you are refer to, is that Anthony posted an informative interesting post. Not that I read the original just the quote you made. It was simple, and I thought oh if he doestn't post for awhile, he has a life, good for him.
With the next sentence I felt gee whiz I did not after all ask him to DEFEND himself. I didn't know he was. I thought he was just being informative, saying I am still here folks, just doing other things. Simple. But maybe more is going on.
So, I am not touching this post, don't get it, move on (i.e. no response).
Anthony is a role model which is to be respected. Not sure he needs us to tell him how great he is. But you know better, certainly. Anyhow, my intial response was hands off, don't get it, move on.
Hope this helps. Just one perspective, mine with all my baggage.
Best Wishes,
Gena

I was sharing with others that Anthony is doing really well having outside interests rather than spending hours and hours on the computer like he used to. People here may notice Anthony is not around....but not know why...like he may be ill, he may be finding that he needs time out etc but this is not the case. Sharing his improvement in the sense of living more of a normal life is fundamental encouragement for others here seeing that they can get there if they try. |
